How I Started Blogging

Before I started blogging I began my fashion Instagram page. I didn’t always have a passion for fashion though. When I was in high school I was kind of into fashion but I really couldn’t afford to be. It wasn’t until I got my first job at T.J Maxx that I discovered my love for it.

I first started working there as a cashier and eventually moved to working in the woman’s clothing department. I was in charge of re – doing the fixtures to create realistic outfits for customers to buy. Once I started doing this I realized how much fun it was! Which made me then realize I wanted to be a Fashion Merchandiser. Thus, I changed my major to start studying business and then go into merchandising.

Each paycheck I received started to go more and more to clothes. I learned how to dress better and grew my wardrobe. It took me a while to figure out exactly what my style was. Honestly, this past year was when I fully discovered what my style was. I started following more and more fashion Instagram accounts and started reading more blogs. After a while I realized that I wanted to start one. I didn’t start right away because I was scared of what people would say and that I wasn’t good enough. But once I got the courage to start I realized how much I loved it.

I just recently began the beginning of this year and I’ve never been happier. It gives me an outlet to express my style and thoughts! Even though I can’t afford to spend tons of money on clothes right now I’m still able to express myself and show off my style. I recently wrote a post about how I stay on budget and those things really help me.

If you have been wanting to start something and have been scared or nervous to do so, don’t be! Once you start you are going to be so glad you did! So this is your sign! Don’t be afraid to go after the things you want in life! They are much easier to accomplish than you think!

I hope this post inspires you to go after what you really want in life!
